MITESH
My name is Mitesh Solanki, I work in Strategic Planning in Advertising/Marketing, which keeps me very busy day-to-day, mainly researching from my computer as well as in the real world with customers & clients. Sometimes I am on my feet all-day facilitating workshops.
For many many years I was a victim of my ups and downs on a day to day basis, which I was unable to control. My emotional reactions to life-long conditioned behaviours and habits were in control of these ups and downs that I would experience on a daily basis. Family, friends, and colleagues described me as moody and unpredictable.
Today (and for the last few years) I can more easily manage many aspects of life with greater intention to maintain consistency & balance throughout each day and week - things such as energy levels, stress, mental-mind, physical strength, and emotions.
My friends, family, and colleagues now describe me as balanced, and more at-one-with-myself.
I have used gyms regularly since 16yrs of age, however it was mostly guess-work or based on a personal trainer who would merely copy & paste what worked for them, which resulted in injury or no progress.
Today and for the last 7-8 years with Everest Fitness, my program is tailored to my physical ability, body type, and my own personal areas of weakness.
For many years I could never do proper squats, deadlifts, or basic leg exercise without injuring my lower back, which would put me out for 1-2 weeks of training. In fact my whole body was out of proportion from head to toe.
Today, my body is in proportion and I can squat up to 130kg and deadlift 140kg without injury and learn to maintain focus on daily progress versus hitting a number.
